Special Announcement
The IS
USBC BA has three director positions and four officer positions open for
election at the 2008 Annual Meeting. All
interested individuals MUST submit a written resume for
these positions. District directors to be elected for a 3-year term are:
Districts 3, 6 & 8. Officer
positions to be elected for a 1-year term are:
President, 1st, 2nd & 3rd Vice President.
Requirements:
To apply for a specific district, the applicant should live in and bowl in
that district. Though not a requirement, this is highly desirable.
To apply for an officer position, the applicant must have been a
member of the current IS USBC BA board, or the previous IBA board, for a
minimum of five (5) continuous years.
A maximum of eighteen (18) years total will be allowed for
association service.

The application forms as presented on the current IS USBC BA Website [www.indianausbc.org]
Director
Information page will be used for all positions. An applicant must
indicate a specific position
desired.
If unable to access the Website, a copy of the application can be
requested from the POC at the address below.
All applicants will be interviewed and must make themselves
available for interview when requested by the Nominating Committee.
All applicants will be notified two (2) weeks in advance.
This committee will also nominate the State delegate and alternate
to the 2009 and 2010 USBC Annual meeting.
If you desire those positions, you must fill out an application.
All applications must be mailed to the POC of the Nominating
Committee and postmarked by June 1, 2008 No exceptions!

Kirkpatrick & Leming elected to Hall
of Fame
The Hall of Fame committee met on
Saturday March 22, 2008
to count the returned ballots for the election for the State Hall of Fame.
The
Indiana
State USBC BA (IS USBC BA) is proud to announce that the following
individuals have been elected to the State Bowling Hall of Fame.
Newly elected
are Mike Kirkpatrick from Anderson and Jim Leming of
Marion
.
They will be
inducted during the annual meeting festivities scheduled for the weekend
of
June 27-29, 2008
in
Indianapolis

Indiana
.
