TOURNAMENT RESULTS

The 2008 Indiana Masters Tournament was held Jan 25-27,  at Plaza Lanes in Connersville . 
There were106 participants that combined for a total of 199 entries.
The Winner was Randy Robertson of Evansville , and he collected $2000. and an entry into the USBC Masters for the Championship. He qualified for the Double Elimination Match-play Finals on his third attempt with games of 232, 232, and 216 for a 680 which seeded him in 5^th place. Robertson then went undefeated in the Winners Bracket on Sunday with an average of 208 to win the Championship. He spared and then struck in the 10^th frame to defeat Scott Gilmore of Lafayette in the Final Match by a score of  207 to 204. Gilmore was Runner-Up for the second year in a row. He qualified on Saturday with a 624 which was the 22^nd seed, but won matches in the winners bracket before losing to Robertson in the 8^th round. He earned another chance to bowl Robertson by defeating Scott Tucker of Indianapolis in the Final Match of the Losers Bracket.

Justin Howard of Rushville was the Top Qualifier with a 706 on games of 245, 205, and 256. Chris Cundiff of Portage qualified 2^nd with games of 205, 268 and 228 for a 701.

There was a tie for the 32^nd and final spot in Match-play at 610. Rich Logan of Indianapolis defeated Ed Frederick of Indianapolis in a 1 game Roll-Off to advance.

It took a score of 604 to cash in this years tournament.

The weekend started off on Friday night with 2 Separate 2-Game Sweepers

Jeff Snuffer of Valparaiso won the 7:30 Sweeper with scores of 236 and 223 for a 459 total.

Jeremy Delcamp had 213 and 226 for a 439 to win at 9 PM.
